New Science Stream Launched
In 2016, PPPU College strengthened its academic offerings by introducing the B.Sc. (Chemistry) stream. This addition provided students more options in the sciences and helped diversify the course portfolio.
Achieved NAAC Accreditation
PPPU College achieved a significant milestone in 2018 by securing NAAC accreditation (or reaccreditation), reflecting its commitment to quality education and institutional excellence.

In 2019, PPPU students made the institution proud by winning top honors in state-level academic competitions. Several students also secured university ranks, highlighting the college’s academic calibre.
Swift Shift to Online Learning
The global COVID‑19 pandemic posed major challenges. PPPU quickly adapted by shifting to online and hybrid teaching models, ensuring continuity of learning and support for students during the crisis.
Innovation & Infrastructure Upgrades
Post the disruption, 2021 marked recovery and growth. The college launched a Research & Innovation Centre, renovated the auditorium, and upgraded laboratory facilities with modern equipment.
Partnerships & Quality Renewal
In 2022, PPPU underwent its accreditation renewal successfully. It also entered into MOUs with local industry and research institutions, fostering collaboration and student exposure to real-world projects.
Postgraduate Programs Introduced
Continuing its expansion, PPPU introduced new postgraduate / diploma courses (e.g. M.Sc., M.A, certificate programs). This broadened the academic scope and welcomed students pursuing advanced study.
Smart Campus Transformation
In 2024, PPPU modernized its campus with smart classrooms, a new e‑learning platform, and campus‑wide Wi-Fi upgrades. These enhancements improved teaching, learning, and connectivity.
